Living as a British Expat in the Middle East opens one’s eyes to a number of things but fashion wasn’t the first thing on my mind. However, my fiancé Susan, and I were located in the unfashionable UAE emirate of Sharjah – an immediate neighbour of the very fashionable Dubai emirate.
